Job Overview:

We are looking for individuals with a passion for technology and problem solving, ideally with solid academic foundations in engineering disciplines. Day to day that means:

  • Capturing and analysing of client requirements
  • Working as part of a quality-oriented software development team
  • Engaging & collaborating with internal & business teams
  • Designing, coding, unit testing, reviewing and bug fixing of commercial grade software including
    • Mobile and Desktop Applications
    • User-facing web portlets for delivery into Cisco’s enterprise platforms
    • Web services
  • Analysing IT case data, user feedback, mailers & discussion forums to identify opportunities for service improvement
  • Continuous professional development. Maintaining and expanding your knowledge and skills with current and emerging technologies as they become applicable.

About you:

  • Enrolled in the course of studies towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Computer Science, IT, Math, Physics, Engineering or similar disciplines preferred)
  • Strong analytical mind-set
  • Passionate about technology in general and with particular interest in Network Services & Operating Systems, Windows-based OS, MAC OS and Android/iOS.
  • Relevant experience is welcome, but not required.
  • Legally eligible to live and work in the UK (student visa does not apply)
