Joining the Technical Authority team you will be working with a highly experienced team of system architects and engineers within secure communications. We are a team that spans three UK Airbus sites and our programmes have both a UK and European focus, developing the next generation of communication systems. You will have the opportunity to grow and apply your Technical, Interpersonal and Organisational skills and contribute to the team’s success in a challenging and rewarding environment. Tasks & accountabilities During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include; • Supported technical tasking within live system programmes. • Independent working on supporting activities. • Managing the team reporting, to ensure effective management reporting. • Assisting in network security tasking, as required. • Maintaining team communication and information on the global tool. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following; • Ability to acquire information quickly using diverse sources including documentation and discussion. • Communication skills to ensure that the message is understood. • Demonstrable independent working, but know when to seek assistance to maintain progress. • Problems solving to find a way forwards. • Organisational skills to ensure timely reporting and communication. • IT application skills.
