This initial part of your role will require you to work during the weekends with rest days during the work week and support major UK sports events. After 6 months, your role will be office based with occasional opportunities for travel.   As a Graduate Product Engineer you will be involved in the design process of new features and will be given an opportunity to improve our existing products as well as to generate ideas for new products. This role can bring you closer to many different sports - examples include putt tracking in golf, SMART Communications in the Premier League and many more.   Often the new features and products will be up to you to present to the operational teams (and sometimes even clients) on-site, so you will be one of the first people at Hawk-Eye to try and test the new products and features our development team creates. This also includes creating the specification documents for the new features and products as well as producing video tutorials on how to best utilise the new features and our products in general.   You will also have a major role in software testing to ensure our new software meets all the specifications. The current team is also working to improve the UX and UI of Hawk Eye's existing applications, which is also an area you will have a chance to contribute to. REQUIREMENTS   A strong technical grounding, ideally with a 2:1 degree in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or relevant equivalent experience Bright and enterprising with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment   Nice to have Love for sport (but if you are not into sport, it’s not a deal breaker).
