    Come and join us to contribute to the research and development of the MATLAB and Simulink platforms, as used by software developers, scientists and engineers throughout many application and industry areas worldwide.   Extend your C/C++ and MATLAB programming skills whilst learning new technologies such as C/C++ code generation and embedded systems design. Responsibilities You will work within our Cambridge based Embedded Coder software development team with a supervising mentor on an 8-12 week project.    Take a project from initial concepts, through requirements, software design and implementation to deliver a fully functional prototype or shipping feature. Your project will be in the area of C/C++ code generation and real-time XCP-based host/target connectivity for MATLAB/Simulink and embedded targets such as ARM-based processors, including Raspberry Pi, and Arduino. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline. Candidates for this position must hold a valid work permit in the United Kingdom Additional Qualifications Studying for a Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or Natural Science degree or equivalent Practical programming experience in C/C++, Java or C# is a plus Good understanding of object oriented software design Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink is a plus
